Hello. My name is Jorge Manso. I'm an artist, painter, and
all around creative type. I have been drawing and painting since I held my first
crayon. Or was it a spoonful of sauce? I can't remember.
I began painting dogs when my own Maggie came into my life almost 8 years ago. Recently I've been drawn (no pun intended) to painting babies and young children. I haven't posted any thing yet because I'm still working on them but in the pic above you can see my studio and the kids I'm working on.
I prefer to take my own photographs but if that's not possible then I'll do my best with an existing picture. I think the best pictures are those candid shots that express the child's or pet's personality. The paintings you see in my studio are in black and white but down the line I intend to create some color work as well.
